Thank you for allowing me to help plan your past, present and future vacations. Since I have been in the travel business, things have changed drastically. In order to survive in this business, travel agents have had to adapt and change. We are no longer order takers but instead are vacation consultants offering our experience, knowledge and expertise in helping with your vacation plans.
As you know, we work personally with each client to ensure that the vacation planned is the right vacation for them. We spend a considerable amount of time and effort researching and planning each client’s vacation to make sure the vacation is what they want and at the price they are comfortable with.
Travel consultants are compensated for our work by the suppliers, but that is only after you return from your trip. We typically spend between 4-10 hours consulting, researching, arranging and taking care of all of the details of each client’s vacation personally.

To insure that we are compensated for the hours we devote to the planning of your vacation, we may ask you for an upfront Vacation Planning Fee of $50 per person. This fee will be charged for customized itineraries that include multiple travel components, using multiple travel suppliers to satisfy the needs of the clients or when the client needs significant assistance with the destination or type of vacation desired.
This fee is to cover our time and efforts in the event you decide not to book this vacation or destination. Should you book the itinerary as presented, this fee is applied toward your final payment. If you decide not to book this vacation or destination, this fee is considered non refundable.

There may be other non-refundable fees required to book airline tickets, rail tickets and
other travel components which are no longer commissionable to travel consultants. These fees will start at $10 per person based on the amount of planning required and the value of the travel component.
- In depth consultation with clients to determine the right vacation for them
- Researching the destination, resorts, cruise ships for the right match
- Creating an itinerary that meets the client’s needs
- Providing a competitive price quote
- Booking cruise, tours and hotel/resort reservations
- Providing information on the destination or ports of calls
- Providing assistance with shore excursions and sight seeing tours
- Updating the client on any changes that arise and more.

Once a vacation is deposited, should you decide or need to cancel your vacation, a Refund Processing Fee of $50 per person will apply to the reservation. All cancellations must be in writing and must accompany a money order or a signed credit card authorization in the amount of $50 per person before the cancellation can be processed. Please be advised that this is in addition to any supplier cancellation penalties. The Refund Processing Fee may be claimed on your travel insurance policy, according to the policy’s rules and requirements.
